conditions
This document establishes the terms and conditions governing access to and use of the web portal, which we refer to as SÍSEI. This portal is owned and operated by Soluciones Estratégicas en Información S.A.S. (SEI).
Access, navigation, and use of the portal imply full and unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions, which are mandatory and binding. We recommend that you read them carefully. If you do not agree with the content of this document, you should not continue with the registration process or use the services of the portal. Continued use of the portal after any modification made by SEI will be considered tacit acceptance of the new terms.
Use of the portal is at your own risk. The user agrees to:
- Use the portal diligently and securely, from reliable devices and networks.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your access credentials (username and password) and not share them with third parties.
- Immediately inform SEI of any unauthorized use or suspected breach of their account.
- Not to engage in activities that may affect the security, integrity, availability, or functionality of the portal, including the use of malicious software (malware), viruses, denial-of-service attacks (DDoS), or any other action that may damage SEI’s hardware, software, or systems.
SEI reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or terminate, temporarily or permanently, access to the user account or all of the portal’s services, at any time and without prior notice, in the event of:
- Breach of these terms and conditions.
- Misuse of the portal or your access credentials.
- Suspicion of fraudulent or illegal activities.
- Technical, security, or maintenance reasons.
SEI shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses, damages, or injuries that users or third parties may incur as a consequence of:
- Improper or negligent use of the portal.
- The user’s ignorance of these terms.
- Incompatibility of the user’s devices or software.
- Viruses, malware, or computer attacks that are not under SEI’s control.
- Failures or interruptions in the service of external providers.
The user understands and accepts that, through the portal, they may formalize legally valid documents, including, but not limited to, employment contracts, addenda, agreements, and certifications. Acceptance of these documents through the use of buttons such as “Accept,” “Sign,” or similar actions constitutes an electronic signature and shall have the same legal force and validity as a handwritten signature, in accordance with the provisions of Law 527 of 1999 and other related regulations.
When performing these types of actions, the system will generate a digital trace that includes the event log, the document hash, the date and time, the IP address, and other metadata, which will serve as proof of the user’s acceptance and express consent.
These terms and conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute or controversy arising from the interpretation or enforcement of this document shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent judges and courts of the city of Bogotá, D.C.
